Super simple! Just plug in your external hard drive, then open Steam and head to Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders > Add Library Folder. Choose the location on your external hard drive and bam, you've got a new spot for your games. Next, go to your game library, right-click the game you wanna move, hit 'Properties', then 'Local Files', and finally 'Move Install Folder.' Pick your new folder and Steam does the rest.

Remember, not all external drives are fast enough for gaming, so you might see longer loading times or even gameplay lag. It's like when you're trying to run but you're wearing flip-flops instead of sneakers.

Just buy a bigger internal drive, honestly. External drives can be a mess with games, especially if you unplug it by accident mid-game. RIP progress.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
