Just drag and drop the whole Steam folder to the new drive. Nope, don't do this, I'm just messing with ya. Follow the steps through Steam settings to ensure it's done right. Steam doesn't take kindly to the cowboy approach.

Easy peasy! First, open Steam and go to Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders. Click 'Add Library Folder' and choose the location on your new drive. Then, right-click on the game in your Steam Library you want to move, select 'Properties,' go to 'Local Files,' and click on 'Move Install Folder.' Select your new folder and voil脿, game on in a new location!

Honestly, just uninstall and reinstall the game to the new drive if you've got fast internet. It's the nuclear option but hey, sometimes starting fresh is easier!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
