When you select your army, drag the right mouse button while holding down 'Ctrl'. Experiment a bit, and you'll get it!

Select all your units, hold down the left mouse button, and drag them into the formation you want. Just make sure to keep those squishy archers in the back!

Use the 'Group' function (G key) to lock your units in their current formation. Then just move them around like they're on parade!

I like to use the 'Ctrl' and number keys (1, 2, 3, etc.) to group units. Keeps my formation tidy during those epic battles!
