Moving Valorant to a new spot on your drive ain't too complex, but brace yourself for some steps. First up, you’ve gotta completely shut Valorant and its Riot client down; make sure they're not running in the background. Next, head over to where Valorant's installed and copy the whole Valorant folder. Now, sprint to where you wanna paste it, maybe a swanky new SSD for those sweet, sweet load times. Once it’s there, you gotta dive back into the original Riot Client folder, find the 'RiotClientInstalls.json' file, and tweak the Valorant path to its new home. If you get a 'where the heck did Valorant go?' message from Riot Client, point it to the new location. Voila, done!

Be careful. Moving games like Valorant can mess with updates or cause errors. Always have a backup before you start shuffling files around!

Just drag and drop the Valorant folder to the new location. If it throws a fit, reinstall. Sometimes it's just easier.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
