Honestly, just drag and drop the game folder to your external drive, and update your shortcuts. Might need to fix the game path in the launcher settings, but it's as simple as that.

Moving Valorant to an external hard drive is pretty simple! First, make sure your external drive is connected. Then, you gotta locate the Valorant installation folder on your current drive (usually in the C:\Riot Games folder). Copy the entire folder to your external hard drive. After that, uninstall Valorant from its original location through the Control Panel. Once uninstalled, download the Valorant installer from the official site, run it, but pause when it asks for an installation location. Choose the new location on your external drive where you copied the folder. The installer should recognize the existing files, and voila, you've moved Valorant without re-downloading the whole game!

Doesn't work well. Games like Valorant are better off on your main drive. Had issues running it from an external HD.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
