The truth is, you can't physically move the workbenches in Fallout 4. However, you can sometimes find or build your workshop in a new location and customize that to your heart's content. So, instead of moving it, think about strategizing your base layout around the existing workbenches!
You actually can't move the workbenches, they're fixed. Would've been cool, though.
