Easiest way: Hold the PS button to bring up the control center, head to Sound, then adjust the DualSense speaker volume!

Simple fix: Press the mute button below the PS button until it lights up orange. That mutes all audio, including the controller speaker.

Experience tip: I mute mine by going to Settings > Sound > Controller Speaker. Just slide that volume slider all the way down.
