Muting your mic in Apex Legends on PS4 is pretty simple! During a match, just press the 'Options' button on your controller to bring up the menu. Then, navigate to the 'Squad' tab using L1 or R1. You'll see your squad's names - just select your own name and you should see an option to mute your mic. Voila, peace and quiet!

IMO just use the PS4's quick menu - hold the PS button and you get options to adjust devices connected, including your mic. Faster and you don't have to mess around in the game menu.

Honestly, I just mute my whole squad. Sometimes ya just wanna focus on the game without any distractions. Go to the 'Squad' tab in the menu and you can mute your mic or even your squadmates' mics. It's handy when you're really trying to concentrate.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
