Muting your mic in Valorant is pretty straightforward. Just hit 'ESC' to bring up the main menu during a game, click on the 'Audio' tab, and then you'll see a microphone icon next to your name under 'Voice Chat'. Click on it to toggle your mic on or off. Super easy and you can do it mid-game without missing a beat!

Hot take: why mute? Communication is key in Valorant. Just keep it on and call out those plays!

Been there, done that! I had to learn to mute my mic the hard way after my dog started barking in a ranked match. Go to the 'Audio' settings in the game menu, and you'll find the option to mute yourself. Saved my team from a lot of ear pain and probably saved my rank too!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
