I've been playing Apex on Switch for ages, and honestly, the easiest way to ensure you're muted is to adjust your settings in the system menu before you even start the game. Go to System Settings -> Audio, and you can disable the mic entirely there. That way, you don't have to fiddle with in-game options during a heated match.

Just unplug your mic lol. If it's built-in, flip the mic up or find the mute button. No need to navigate menus.

Oh, the joys of figuring out how to stop broadcasting your every grunt and snack crunch to your squad in Apex. On the Nintendo Switch, you can mute yourself by pressing the '+' button to bring up the game menu mid-match, then navigating to the 'Squad' tab. From there, you'll see an icon next to your name鈥攃lick it to toggle your mic on and off. Handy for when you're mid-bite into a particularly crunchy chip!

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
