For mobile, open the Facebook app, tap the three lines (menu), scroll to Messenger, and toggle off 'Active Status'. Stealth mode activated.
On Facebook, click on the Messenger icon, then click the three dots for options, and toggle 'Turn Off Active Status'. Boom, you're invisible!
Why turn it off? Just ignore people. If you must, go to settings and flick the switch.
