To unlock a Crimson Chest in Terraria, you're gonna need the Crimson Key, which only drops from enemies in the Crimson biome after you've defeated Plantera. It's a rare drop, so patience is key (pun intended). Once you've got the key, just take it to the Crimson Chest in the Dungeon, and voila, the treasures are yours!
Crimson Key is overrated. Just use a key from another biome. #ChangeMyMind
