How to Open a PS4 to Clean
Turn off your PS4 and unplug it. Remove the hard drive cover, then use a T8 or T9 Torx screwdriver to remove the screws holding the top cover. Spray canned air to clean the inside.

Cleaning the PS4 is easy! Slide off the left-side cover, use compressed air on the interior, and reassemble. I do it every few months to keep my system running smoothly.
To clean your PS4, unplug it and remove the top cover by sliding it to the left. Use compressed air to blow out dust, focusing on the fan and vents. Don't forget to wipe down the exterior too!
