Use a torx screwdriver to remove all the screws after taking off the faceplate. Be sure to remember where each screw goes. Patience is key here.

Open it up by first removing the faceplate. Then unscrew the outer shell with a torx screwdriver. Be careful鈥攊nternal components are delicate.

From my experience opening mine, it's best to have a toolkit handy. Pry off the faceplate, unscrew the back, and carefully lift the case. It's not too tough, but go slow!

First, unplug all cables from your Xbox 360 Elite. Then, using a flat tool (like a spudger), carefully pry open the faceplate. After that, remove the screws on the back to take off the outer casing. Take your time and be gentle with the internal parts!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
