To open the door in the Ancient Ruins, you must activate six different slime statues by shooting them with the corresponding plorts. Each statue requires a different plort color, so happy hunting!

I went through this myself! Grab plorts that correspond to the statues (pink, rock, rad, etc.), then shoot 'em at each statue. Door opens like magic!
