How to open a Hot Wheels body
Opening a Hot Wheels car isn't exactly recommended if you wanna keep it in mint condition, but if you're into customizing or repairing, here goes: You'll need to drill out the rivets holding the car together. This usually means taking a small drill bit and carefully drilling at the center of the rivets found on the bottom of the car. Once those are out, the body should lift right off the base. Remember, patience is key!

Just buy a new one, way easier.
I've opened a few for my custom projects. You'll need a drill, and some replacements for the rivets you're gonna destroy. It's a bit of work, but totally worth it for customizing. Makes you appreciate the design even more.
