Honestly, the best way to open them is slowly and with appreciation for each card you reveal. It’s not just about the rare card but the experience!

Opening MTG booster packs is super simple and oddly satisfying! Just find the little notch along the top edge of the pack. Hold the pack with the front facing you, then pull the tab away and upwards from the rest of the pack. It should open smoothly, revealing your cards inside. Remember to open packs carefully if you're aiming to keep the cards in mint condition!

I always use scissors to cut the top off. Quick and easy without risking bending the cards.

Just rip it open! But if you care about the cards, maybe be a bit gentler. Look for the notch and pull.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
