Super simple! Just press the Steam button on your Steam Deck to bring up the Steam Overlay. Then, tap on the keyboard icon that appears at the bottom of the screen. Voila, you'll see the on-screen keyboard pop right up, ready for all your typing needs!

I had this exact question when I first got my Steam Deck! I found out you just need to press the Steam button to bring up the overlay and then click the keyboard icon at the bottom. Super easy and makes typing without docking a breeze.

Hot take - Why need an on-screen keyboard when the real magic is gaming? Still, for those moments, just hit the Steam button and tap the keyboard icon at the bottom.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
