Sorry to break it to you, but you actually can't use a phone in GTA San Andreas like you do in later GTA games. CJ's just too cool for smartphones, I guess.

Nope, you can鈥檛 open a phone in GTA: San Andreas. It鈥檚 old school - missions call you, not the other way around!

Actually, phones in GTA San Andreas are for show. You can't dial a number or access a phone app like in GTA V. Missions and important calls automatically happen during the gameplay. No selfies for CJ!
