Opening Pokemon cards is almost as exciting as catching Pokemon itself! Start with a gentle touch; find the wrapper seam at the top of the pack. Hold the pack firmly but gently, and pull at the seam to separate the plastic without damaging the cards inside. Once opened, slide out the cards carefully to avoid any bends or tears. Remember, it's all about preserving the cards' condition to maintain their value and usability in the game.

From personal experience, the key is patience. I always find a small notch or loose part at the top or bottom of the pack. Using that as a starting point, I gently peel the wrapper apart. Taking your time not only prevents damage but makes the moment last longer and more enjoyable. Plus, you never know when you might pull a rare card!

Just rip 'em open! But seriously, be a bit careful not to damage the cards.

Honestly, just open them however you want. They're your cards after all. But if you're planning to keep them in good condition or for collecting, maybe don't rip into them like a wild Snorlax.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
