First, grab a SATA to USB adapter. Connect the PS3 hard drive to your PC using it. Then, download a program like DiskInternals Linux Reader. That should let you access the file system since the PS3 uses a non-standard format like UFS2 or XFS.

Don't bother. The PS3 uses a proprietary file system, so you can't directly read or modify it on a Windows PC without special software.
