To open up an Xbox 360 Slim, you'll need a Torx T10 screwdriver. Start by removing the hard drive, then pop off the side and top panels gently. Unscrew everything, and remember: keep track of those screws!

Just take it to a professional and save yourself the hassle. Trust me.

I've done this a few times! First, carefully remove the hard drive and faceplate. Next, use a flat tool to pry the side panels off. Then, remove the screws and open 'er up. Take it slow to avoid breaking any tabs!

Opening my Xbox 360 Slim was a bit of a jigsaw puzzle. First, pull out the hard drive. Then, use a T10 Torx screwdriver to remove the screws and pry off the panels. Keep track of where each screw came from. Good luck!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
