To open your Xbox Series S controller, you'll need a T8H Torx screwdriver. Remove the battery cover, then find the hidden screw under the label in the battery compartment. Unscrew the remaining screws on the grips. Carefully pry apart the controller halves, and you're in!

I opened mine once! Here's the trick: battery cover off, find the hidden screw under the label, then take out the screws on the grips. Pry apart with care. Simple, right?

Get yourself a T8H Torx screwdriver. Unscrew the hidden screw under the battery label and the ones on the grips. Pry it open gently!

Honestly, if you don't have the right tools like a T8H Torx screwdriver, just leave it to a professional.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
