First, turn off and unplug your Xbox Series X. You'll need a Torx T8 and T10 screwdriver. Carefully remove the screws and detach the back cover. Clean gently with compressed air and a soft brush. Be sure not to touch any of the internal components with your hands!

No fancy tools here鈥攋ust a Torx screwdriver set and some patience. Unscrew the back panel, open it up, and get to cleaning with compressed air. It's like giving your console a spa day!

Don't bother opening it. Just use a vacuum with a brush attachment over the vents and call it a day.

I've done it a few times. Unplug it first (duh), then use Torx T8, remove the back panel, and gently clean with canned air. Easy peasy, just be careful!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
