First thing's first: turn off your Xbox 360 and unplug it. Then, straighten out a paperclip and gently insert it into the small hole located right below the disc tray. This should manually release the tray!

You can try gently tapping the top of the Xbox 360 while pressing the eject button. Sometimes, the tray can get a bit dislodged and just needs a little encouragement!

Don't overthink it! Try turning the console off and on again. Sometimes, the issue resolves itself.

From personal experience, if the manual eject method doesn't work, you might want to consider opening up the console. I've had to carefully remove and clean the internal components before, and it fixed the problem.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
