How to Package Pokemon Cards for Shipping
CoilingShip路7 months agoWhen shipping Pokemon cards, the goal is to keep them minty fresh! Start by placing the card in a penny sleeve, this prevents scratches. Next, put that sleeved card into a top loader, which gives it rigidity and protection from bending. Seal the top loader with a piece of tape to keep the card from sliding out, but fold a tab at the end for easy removal. Place the top loader in a bubble mailer for cushioning during transit. If you're sending multiple cards, you can stack them in the top loader but don't overstuff it. For high-value cards, consider double-bubble mailer or even a small box for extra security.

Seriously, buy insurance if you're shipping something pricey. Even with the best packaging, you never know what can happen once it's out of your hands. Better safe than sorry, especially with those rare finds.
Forget all that fancy packaging, just sandwich the card between two pieces of cardboard, tape it up, and throw it in an envelope. Been doing it for years and never had a problem. Quick and cheap.
