First-hand experience here: Open the Steam Deck’s settings, enable Bluetooth, and press the PS and Share buttons on the DualSense until the light blinks. Select 'Wireless Controller' in the list of available devices. Works like a charm.

Just use a USB cable. It'll pair automatically. Done.

Easy peasy! Turn on Bluetooth on your Steam Deck, then press and hold the PlayStation button and the Share button on the DualSense until the light bar starts flashing. Go to your Steam Deck's Bluetooth settings and select the 'Wireless Controller' to pair. Happy gaming!
