To pause Terraria on a PC, just press the 'Escape' key to bring up the inventory screen. While the inventory is open, the game automatically pauses in single-player mode. Just remember, this doesn't work in multiplayer mode because the game can't pause for everyone at once.

Protip: If you're playing single-player and need a real pause, hit 'Escape' to open the inventory which kinda pauses the game. But if you need to step away in multiplayer, find a super safe spot or log off to avoid unwanted surprises!

Actually, you can't really pause Terraria in the traditional sense, especially in multiplayer. But for single-player, opening your inventory with 'Escape' is as close as it gets. If you're looking for a true pause, maybe just find a safe spot to stand still.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
