Pausing the timer in a Valorant custom game is super straightforward. All you need to do is hit 'ESC' to bring up the game menu and then click on 'Match Pause' if you're the game host. Simple as that! Just remember, only the host has the power to pause and unpause the game, so make sure you've got the right permissions if you're trying to take a breather or set something up.

No can do, buddy. Valorant doesn't let players pause the game timer mid-round in custom games. You can only pause between rounds, not during. The timer's relentless!

Actually, you can pause but not in the way you might think. You can't stop the round timer dead in its tracks, but if you're hosting, you can extend the buy phase indefinitely by enabling infinite time in the custom game settings before the match starts. It's not exactly pausing, but it gives you all the time you need before the round kicks off.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
