Unfortunately, you can't actually 'pause' Xbox Game Pass. But you can cancel it and re-subscribe later without losing your saved data!

I tried to pause mine and realized Xbox Game Pass doesn't have a pause option. Best bet is to cancel and then come back to it when you're ready.
