Peeling the face off a Pokemon card is something collectors or artists might do to create custom cards or art pieces. You'll want to start by gently heating the card with a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive. Then, carefully use a thin tool like a razor blade or a knife to lift the edge of the card's face. Slowly work your way around the card, keeping the heat applied as needed to avoid tearing the paper. Remember, this will definitely ruin the card's value as a collectible, so only do this if you're sure!

Just don鈥檛. Peeling the face off a Pokemon card destroys its value and collectibility. If you love your cards, keep them intact!

I've done this! You gotta be super careful, or you'll end up ripping the card. Use a hairdryer to soften the glue and then a thin, sharp blade to lift the top layer. Took me a few tries to get it right without tearing.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
