Picking advanced locks in Fallout 4 is all about feeling the vibration or seeing the movement of your controller when you're close to the sweet spot. Start by lightly rotating the lockpick and then slowly move the bobby pin around until you find the right position. If your pick starts to shake, ease off a bit and adjust your angle. Remember, patience is key, and practice makes perfect!

Just level up the Locksmith perk under Perception to pick advanced locks. You need at least level 7 in Perception and the first rank of Locksmith to start picking advanced locks. Happy looting!

Honestly, just save before you try and bash that thing open. If you break your bobby pin, reload the save. It's the wasteland way!

Pro tip: don't bother with advanced locks. Just blast the door open with a Fat Man. Who needs subtlety in the apocalypse, right?

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
