Picking expert locks in Fallout 4 is all about patience and a bit of skill. First, make sure you've leveled up your lockpicking perk to at least Expert level. Then, gently rotate the lockpick with the screwdriver using the controller or keyboard. If the lock starts to resist, ease off and try a slightly different position. It’s like convincing a stubborn cat to move off your keyboard - gentle, persistent nudging.

Expert locks ain't no joke in Fallout 4, but here's the deal: crank up that lockpicking perk to Expert, then it's just feeling around till you hit that sweet spot. When the pick starts shaking, back off a smidge and adjust. Rinse and repeat. Remember, breaking picks is part of the learning curve, so stock up!

Just click it open, lol. But seriously, without the Expert perk in lockpicking, you're just torturing yourself. Get the perk, save your bobby pins, and thank me later.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
