Easy peasy! When your opponent's getting too cheeky on the bases, press L2 + Triangle (or L2 + Y on Xbox) to pick them off at 1st base. You can also use L2 + Circle (or L2 + B) for 2nd base and L2 + Square (or L2 + X) for 3rd base.

Just hold L2 and press the base button you want to throw to. Watch their lead and catch 'em napping!

Picking off is actually my favorite part! Trust me, I've nailed it by pressing L2, then quickly hitting the base button. You'll catch them off guard more often than you think.

Honestly, I never use pickoffs. Just focus on striking them out instead.

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
