I remember first time I tried to pick something up in Super Mario 64... after some trial and error, turns out you just press B near the object. Simple as that!
B button. That's it.
Easy peasy! Just press the B button (or equivalent on your controller) when you're near an object or enemy to pick it up!
Tilt the analog stick to move Mario close to the object, then press the B button to pick it up. You'll be tossing Bob-ombs in no time!
