Pinging a gun in Valorant is super easy, just move your crosshair over the weapon you wanna highlight for your teammates, and hit the ping button (default is Z). Bam! Your team now knows there's a shiny gun waiting for them.

Just hover over the weapon and press Z. Done. Your squad's now clued in on where the firepower's at.

IMO it's not always useful to ping guns unless you're playing with a team that actually pays attention to pings. But yeah, Z's your button for that.
