Actually, placing a bottle on a table or platform in Terraria is not just about the looks; it's a crucial step in potion crafting. It's like the game's way of saying, 'Welcome to the world of alchemy!' So, when you do it, make sure you're ready to brew some magical stuff!

First off, you gotta make sure you have a bottle in your inventory; if not, go craft or find one. Then, just stand in front of a table or any similar flat surface furniture and open your inventory. Click on the bottle, then click again outside the inventory on the table, and bam, you've got yourself a placed bottle of water. This isn't just for decoration, btw. It also turns the table into an alchemy station where you can brew potions.

Super simple, just slap the bottle on a table. That's it. No magic, no fuss.
