You gotta be in Build Mode first! Select 'Fence,' then find your gate and place it within your fence. Simple as that.
First-hand experience here: Go into Build Mode, select your desired fence, place it, and then drop the gate wherever you want within that fence. Can't mess it up!
To place a fence gate, go into Build Mode, select 'Build' and then 'Fences.' Choose your fence and find the matching gate. Place the fence first, then click to add the gate where you want it. Easy peasy!
