Seriously, just stand on the water, deploy it from your hotbar, and watch the magic unfold. Easy peasy!
You gotta head to the surface, choose the Mobile Vehicle Bay from the quick slot, and press the action button to release it. Boom, done.
To place the Mobile Vehicle Bay, just deploy it from your inventory while you're on the surface of the water. It'll unfold automatically!
Just a pro tip, make sure you're in open water to give it enough space to deploy properly. Trust me, learned that the hard way.
