Placing the spike in Valorant is pretty straightforward but super crucial! When you're the attacker, first, make sure you have the spike (it'll show in your inventory if you do). Navigate to the bomb site (marked A or B on most maps). Look for a highlighted area on the ground, that's your cue! Stand in that spot, and press the '4' key on your keyboard to start planting the spike. Stay alive and keep an eye out for defenders trying to stop you. Once the planting starts, it takes 4 seconds to plant, so make sure your team's got your back!

Actually, planting the spike isn't always the best move. Sometimes faking a plant to draw enemies out can be way more effective. You start the plant to make noise, then stop to fight off the defenders who come running. Big brain plays!

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
