You can place a Squid Beacon by selecting it from your sub-weapon inventory during a match and pressing the R button! Just make sure you're in a safe spot so your teammates can super jump to it.

If you want to place a Squid Beacon, first equip it in your loadout. In a match, just press R near the perfect spot.
