Pro tip from someone who's been there: after you press '4' to take out the spike, you can actually move around a bit to adjust your position before you commit to planting. Useful when you hear enemy footsteps at the last second and need to be a bit sneakier. Also, communicate with your team so they know to cover you while you're planting!

Just hit '4' and click, dude. Not rocket science. But remember, don't plant in the open. That's how you get sniped.

To plant the spike in Valorant, first, make sure you're the one carrying it. Get to the bombsite, marked A or B on the map. Once you're in the bombsite area, press the '4' key to take out the spike. Then, find a strategic spot within the site (hint: corners are popular but predictable), hold down the left mouse button until the planting bar fills up, and voila, you've planted the spike! Keep in mind, picking a good spot can make defending it easier for your team.
