How to Play 2 Player on Fortnite Split Screen
Alright, first things first: make sure you're both connected to the same console (sorry, PC players, no split-screen for you!). Then, load up Fortnite and hit the Battle Royale mode. Once you're in the lobby, connect the second controller and press the button that pops up to log in player two. Boom! You're all set to show off your co-op skills!

All you need to do is connect a second controller to your console, log in, and join the game while in lobby. Just remember, split-screen only works on Battle Royale and Creative modes.

Speaking from experience, make sure both of you are logged into different Fortnite accounts on the same console. Hit the lobby, and sign in the second player from there. The game will prompt you with on-screen instructions. Good teamwork can win you the match, but good luck finding the loot first on that tiny screen!
