Easy peasy! Start Minecraft on your PS4, then choose 'Create New' or load an existing world. Connect a second controller and press the PS button on it. Sign in with a second account or select 'Guest'. Press the 'Options' button on the second controller to join the game. Voilà! Split-screen fun!

Been doing this a lot with my little brother. Just make sure you have two controllers, start the game, and sign in the second player with 'Guest' or another account. Then, press 'Options' on the second controller. Super fun!
