How to Play Splatoon 2 with 2 Players on Nintendo Switch
In Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch, you can play two-player by using the local wireless play feature, where each player uses their own console. Unfortunately, there's no traditional split-screen mode for couch co-op, but you can both join the same online match and team up. Just connect to the same Wi-Fi network and create or join a room together!

Tried it myself! You need a second Switch and copy of the game to play together. Use local wireless play, and smash that ink battlefield!
Not the best news, but Splatoon 2 doesn't have a split-screen mode. Each player needs their own Switch and game copy. Time to find a second console!
