To dive into the world of Los Santos with a buddy on GTA 5 for PS4, you'll need to jump into GTA Online or use the Director mode. Online play lets you roam freely or tackle missions together, while Director mode gives you more of a sandbox experience. Unfortunately, there's no split-screen feature, so make sure your friend has their own system and copy of the game!

GTA 5 doesn't actually support local co-op on PS4. You're gonna need two consoles and two copies of the game to play together. A bit of a bummer, I know.

No split-screen magic here, folks. Each player needs their own PS4 and game copy. Hook up online, and you're good to go.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
