To play 2 players on Sonic Mania for Switch, start by selecting 'Mania Mode' or 'Competition' from the main menu, then have each player choose a character. Player 1 uses the left Joy-Con, and Player 2 uses the right Joy-Con. Simple as that, just like splitting a chili dog!
