How to Play 3DS Games on the Steam Deck
Good news for ya! Playing 3DS games on the Steam Deck isn't as straightforward as clicking 'play' on Steam, but it's definitely doable. First, you'll need an emulator. One of the most popular ones is Citra, which is specifically designed for 3DS games. Install Citra through the Linux desktop mode on your Steam Deck. Once you've got it set up, download your legally obtained 3DS game ROMs, load them up in Citra, and voilà! You're playing 3DS games on your Steam Deck.

Actually, I just play them directly on my 3DS. The Steam Deck is cool and all, but nothing beats the original 3DS experience, IMO.
I've been playing 3DS games on my Steam Deck for a while now using Citra, and it's pretty awesome. Just make sure to tweak the settings for optimal performance. Some games play better than others, but overall it's a solid way to enjoy your 3DS favorites on a bigger screen.
