Playing against your friends in Apex Legends requires a bit of a workaround since the game is primarily team-based. One popular method is to create a custom match, but you'll need access to the custom lobby feature, which is generally available for approved community tournaments and some streamers. Another less formal yet tricky method is trying to queue into the same game at the exact same time by coordinating over voice chat or messaging. There’s no guarantee you'll end up in the same match, but when it works, it’s a blast!

Trying to game the system to play against friends might ruin the experience for others. Just enjoy teaming up with your buddies!

lol just hit 'Ready' at the same time in regular matchmaking and pray to the Allfather you land in the same game. It's not perfect but hey, it's something.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
