If you wanna squad up with friends on other platforms, just add them in the game using their Apex Legends ID. It's like sending a friend request on any social media, but instead, you get to drop into the action and earn some wins together. Cross-platform parties are seamless.
Honestly, just keep crossplay on, unless you love long waiting times for matches. Console players, beware of those PC snipers though!
Crossplay's on by default, but if you're feeling brave and wanna take on the PC aim gods while on console, then by all means, keep it enabled. Just saying, prepare for a challenge!
